ORS Outer Frame method (Anti-seismic reinforcement)

The ORS Outer Frame Method Improves Building Safety and Enhances Its Anti-Seismic Performance and Appearance.

<Beautiful appearance>

The ORS method is recommended when anti-seismic reinforcement needs to be combined with a renewal of the building appearance.

(This method can reduce diagonal members for the outer frame by using high-strength materials. In this way, this method can retain day-lighting and ventilation in a building and maintain an attractive appearance and design.)

<No need to close the building during construction>

This method is recommended for reinforcement of buildings such as apartment houses, hospitals, governmental offices, and schools with short holidays.

(This method applies reinforcement by outfitting an outer frame only. Reinforcement work is done only to the building exterior.)

<Less construction work on site>

Other reinforcement methods can be carried out while a building is open to the public, but this method has a shorter construction period and fewer workers on site due to the reduced effort required to apply the reinforcement.

(This method can reduce work on site by using precast concrete members.)

Features

The ORS Outer Frame anti-seismic reinforcement method can improve anti-seismic performance of a building by assembling an outer (exterior) reinforced frame and connecting it to the building. This is an industrialized method to fabricate precast concrete members like columns and beams in a specialized factory and assembling them on site. Therefore, the construction period is shorter due to efficient and simplified work on site.

The outer frame with anti-seismic and durability performance is newly constructed by using high-strength concrete and assembling columns and beams with the pre-stressed concrete method. While this method can achieve not only anti-seismic reinforcement and also renewal of appearance, it is also praised as an effective method for increasing property values.

This method can achieve shorter construction period while preserving day-lighting and ventilation while residents or tenants are living in the building. Noise and vibration during construction are minimal. This method has been applied in a wide range of buildings, such as schools, apartments, medical facilities, and commercial buildings.
