President and CEO's message

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for your continued and generous support. I am Mitsuru Terui, President and CEO of Oriental Shiraishi Corporation.

Following our merger with OSJB Holdings in 2021, the new Oriental Shiraishi has been striving toward the "fusion of technologies" and the "strengthening of our Group's capabilities." We are deeply grateful that we can steadily advance our role in infrastructure development today, which is entirely due to your warm and unwavering support.

In our previous Medium-Term Management Plan, we established our "Vision for 2030." Achieving these ambitious goals will require the collective strength of all employees and Group companies. However, our aim is not merely to expand in scale. More than anything, I believe it is vital to achieve "high-quality growth" that contributes to solving social issues. We will accomplish this by further advancing the proprietary technologies we have cultivated—such as prestressed concrete, pneumatic caissons, and structural repair and reinforcement—and by providing comprehensive services spanning design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance.

Furthermore, we intend to accelerate our transformation toward a sustainable future. This includes improving productivity through the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation), investing in human capital by enhancing our unique educational programs and content, and contributing to a decarbonized society.

Guided by our management philosophy—"Utilizing people and technology, we aim to be an organization that is constantly needed by society"—we will harmonize the "power of people" held by each individual employee and dedicate our utmost efforts to creating safe, secure infrastructure and sustainable value.
